Ms. Black's art students looked at self-portraits throughout art history and learned about Pablo Picasso's blue period and the monochromatic color scheme. Then each student was able to create a self portrait in values of one color, with a specific color for each grade. The finished product is a beautiful collaborative rainbow of student self-portraits.
