Before going on their field trip to the UGA Marine Education Center, fifth-graders created anchor charts in science to illustrate and define key vocabulary words they would be hearing on their field trip. Students enjoyed researching the meaning of each word and being creative with the way they presented the information to the class. While at Skidaway, the posters were hung around the common room for students to refer to when needed. Now that we are back, the posters will be used to help students with their writing assignment about the trip.
