Rising seniors Anna Katherine Cates, Olivia Drake, Nicholas Jones and Emily Orr were recognized at the Greater Rome Chamber of Commerce’s High School Leadership Rome graduation.
William Groover ('17) was also recognized, but was not able to attend the ceremony.
The eight-month program takes participants throughout the Rome-Floyd County community sharing different facets like local industry, government, healthcare, transportation and education. The ultimate goal for the High School Leadership Rome program is to demonstrate the opportunities and challenges in the Greater Rome area, and to explore where participants can fit into the bigger picture.
