After a tough game last week, the girls' lacrosse teams met on the practice field to celebrate the unique attributes that everyone brings to the team. Together, these individual qualities combine to create a cohesive whole—a team.
The girls taped paper to each other's backs and wrote positive comments about their teammates. While reading their pages, the girls ate delicious cupcakes from Honeymoon Bakery. These desserts were not only tasty treats, but reminders of their own unique qualities. Each cupcake was different.
The girls would like everyone to join them in a celebration of our differences.Together, we are one athletics team; together, we are the Darlington Tigers.
