Middle Grades Documentary: Upper School/Pre-K Prehistoric Art Unit

The Middle School STEAM class created a documentary that chronicles an integrated classroom unit from design to implementation. The video shares the collaboration between Upper School Spanish 4 and pre-kindergarten students as they study and produce prehistoric art in the Spanish language.

The student-produced documentary film details a curriculum unit integrating history, art, language, science and technology through backward design to develop global perspectives of humanity’s cultural inheritance.

The multimedia content was the centerpiece of Darlington's Student Showcase booth at the Georgia Educational Technology Conference last month.
