Noah Teplitzky ('15) has made history by being the youngest American player by five years to play in the top premier soccer division in Costa Rica. He signed with Municipal PZ in September.
During the summer I began my National Soccer Coaches Association of America Master Coach Diploma. This is the highest coaching diploma offered with the NSCAA organization. This opportunity was made possible with the help of the Thatcher Foundation.
Earlier this week, the Darlington School Soccer Academy U18 boys’ team took home the Gulf Coast National Premier League (NPL) Championship in Jackson, Miss. The young men won 5-2 in the first game over Gulf Coast United, and then again in the final game 1-0 over the Cajun Soccer Club—the reigning Louisiana state champs.
Darlington School awarded professional development funds to faculty members following a competitive grant application process. The winners were officially announced last week at the annual Brown Faculty Appreciation Dinner.
