The DarBots robotics team visited the Advanced Manufacturing Pilot Facility and the RoboJackets labs at Georgia Tech. Our tour highlighted the remarkable range of opportunities for engagement and innovation available for students (and industries) at Georgia Tech.
A BIG thank you to Clay Edwards, VP of sales and marketing at Factory Automation Systems, for arranging our visit and also to Steven Ferguson, executive director for GT Manufacturing 4.0 Consortium, and Michael McCabe, RoboJackets student president, for being such a gracious and informative hosts.
In addition, the team met with DarBot alumni engineers, including Zenith Han ('19), operations analyst, Tesla; Ian Kinney ('17), software engineer, McKinsey and Co.; Joe Fang ('14), Ph.D. candidate in machine learning, Georgia Tech; and Tom Guo ('19).
