Kindergarten Visits Rome Fire Department Station 1

Kindergarten students have been learning about fire safety and celebrated the end of our studies by visiting Station 1 in Rome. The firefighters showed us how they dress to fight a fire, let us get in the fire truck, and tour where they live and eat while they are on duty. The highlight of our trip was watching the firefighters slide down the pole! We also enjoyed seeing Rome firefighter and Darlington alumnus Steven Cox ('16)!
