As the academic year comes to a close, the Darlington Community is excited for the Class of 2024's Commencement on May 18. On a beautiful morning, 104 seniors gathered for their rehearsal, each filled with anticipation and a sense of accomplishment.
In addition to the rehearsal, the Young Alumni Council (YAC) presented an engaging video on how to stay connected as a young alum. The video showcased various ways for graduates to remain involved with their alma mater and maintain the strong bonds they've forged during their time at Darlington. Click here to view the video. We would like to express our heartfelt gratitude to the YAC for their dedication and commitment to fostering a sense of community among our alumni. Their efforts in organizing events and providing resources have been instrumental in creating a supportive network for our graduates.
Throughout the year, the YAC has organized several Senior Transition discussion panels, offering invaluable insights on the shift from high school to college life and beyond. These sessions have provided an excellent opportunity for students to gain firsthand knowledge and advice from those who have recently experienced this significant milestone. The YAC's commitment to mentorship and guidance is genuinely commendable and has undoubtedly had a positive impact on the lives of our students.
