What continues to prove true is that the Darlington Community is the strongest one there is, even during a pandemic. We have watched our community pull together to support each other and are inspired by it every day.
Sitting in the waiting room of my very first job interview in Atlanta in 2001, I was met with a Darlington connection as soon as I walked through the door. The person who was checking me in was friends with one of my dearest Darlington friends. I’m not saying that I got the job because of the connection, but I will say that it didn’t hurt to have a new friend with a great connection!
Every one of us has countless Darlington connections, especially in the work world. So, Darlington’s Advancement Office, in partnership with the Alumni Council, has established a new program, Darlington Connects, to support our entire school community. By supporting each other's careers and life goals our goal is to better connect our students, alumni, parents, parents of alumni, and grandparents.
Darlington alumni, we would like for you to help us kickstart Darlington Connects! We have an amazing online database of alumni who you can connect with at any time. However, we would like to grow this program so that we offer connections in the following areas:
