Luke Chaffin | May 28, 2015 | 1286 views

Last week we celebrated our top five favorite Darlington videos of the 2014-15 school year on Facebook and Twitter.

Students, faculty and staff continue to work together to capture the Darlington experience through the medium of video, chronicling and sharing our 500 acres of fun

Enjoy this recap of our school year reel-to-reel, taking us from this past fall to late spring:

Darlington invites you to Shake It Off!

Journalism students and Darlingtonian staff created a viral video featuring members of the Darlington Community dancing to "Shake It Off" by Taylor Swift. To date, the original clip has over 13,300 views!

The 12 Days of Christmas at Darlington School

Our Communication Office and fine arts department produced a montage featuring the Darlington Tiger, shots of the campus and the vocal stylings of students and faculty. The classic carol was rewritten to showcase the school's traditions and programs. Click here for the blooper reel!

RUMPUS 2015: Lip Sync Competition

One of many campus events that members of the Darlington Community look forward to every year is the RUMPUS campus competition. The school's six houses compete in a variety of challenges, including the Lip Sync portion, in hopes of winning the coveted first-place title. Summerbell House's Lip Sync win helped propel them to take the entire RUMPUS competition.

A Paddler's Perspective: Physics Boat Race

Another beloved tradition is the annual Physics Boat Race each May. Students Julia Holmes ('18) and Samanda Cox ('18) took us on a journey across Silver Lake in their homemade cardboard boat, just as physics students have done for over 20 years.

110th Commencement

On a beautiful Saturday morning, Darlington graduated 118 new alumni at the 110th Commencement ceremony on the Morris Chapel lawn. Jere Drummond ('57), outgoing chairman of the Board of Trustees, served as this year's Commencement speaker.
