Fifteen alumni will return to campus as guest speakers for Darlington’s biennial Career Day event Friday, Feb. 22. Jennifer Wysocki (’90), host of Great American Country’s “The Girls Outdoors,” will be keynote speaker.
“We are so excited to welcome these alumni back to Darlington,” said Whitney Keene (’01), alumni relations officer. “They represent a wide variety of career choices, so hopefully there is something that will interest everyone. I’d also like to thank the Alumni Council for sponsoring this exciting opportunity for students to interact with area professionals.”
All students will meet in Morris Chapel at 8:45 a.m. to hear from Wysocki. Following her address, freshmen and sophomores will participate in a college guidance seminar while juniors and seniors visit their respective “career classes.” Upperclassmen will have the opportunity to pre-register for four classes of their choice in the areas of art, athletics, aviation, culinary arts, dentistry, entertainment, event planning, journalism, landscape architecture, law, medicine, physical therapy, private equity and veterinary medicine.
