Girls Basketball Camp

Girls Basketball Camp

Girls ages 5-14 are invited to hone their basketball skills at Darlingoton this summer. Our varsity and junior varsity coaches, assisted by high school and college players, drive home fundamental skills—shooting, dribbling, passing, rebounding, defending, and setting and using screens.

Campers are given individual attention in station drills stressing critical fundamentals and competitive advantages. Compete daily in shooting and team play. Learn how to work hard and encourage teammates, while enjoying competition—a winning combination that enhances your self-esteem and makes you a successful player.

  • Fundamentals of dribbling, passing, and shooting
  • Proper positioning for defensive play
  • The importance of player positioning on the basketball court
  • Breakdown of guard and post play offensively and defensively
