On Nov. 12, Darlington's Servant Leadership team hosted a blood drive in honor of first-grader Margaret Olivera. Margaret was diagnosed last summer with Fanconi anemia, a rare genetic disorder that results in bone marrow failure and leaves her dependent on blood transfusions.
Last month she received a stem cell transplant in Cincinnati, where she will remain through February for her recovery.
