Beth has been a member of Darlington’s English faculty since 2007 and currently serves as chairperson of the English department. She teaches English 2, English 4 and AP English Language. Beth holds a B.A. from Davidson College, an M.A. from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga, and is currently finishing up her doctorate. She and her husband, Zac, have two children, Gus (’27) and June, and live in Thornwood House.

Abraham Johnson ('15) was recognized for his achievement in writing earlier this month in the national Scholastic Art & Writing Awards competition. The Darlington senior received both the American Voice Award for the state and a National Silver Medal at a ceremony held at the Atlanta campus of the Savannah College of Art and Design.
