Third grade took an educational journey to the west with the fabulous "Passport to the West" program at the Booth Western Art Museum in Cartersville, Ga. We enjoyed living history presentations and demonstrations and participated in interesting activities. We learned about pioneer life including clothing, food preservation and medicine. We viewed encampments of the Plains and Eastern Woodland cultures and learned the differences between the tribes. We discovered what Native American life was like before the introductions of the Europeans.
