Professional development is one of the most important things we can provide our faculty to help our students learn. We are fortunate at Darlington to have dedicated days to allow our faculty to grow professionally, spend time together, and to learn from one another while sharing ideas. During our recent professional development days on May 24-26 teachers participated in team building exercises, writing workshops, curriculum meetings, and other training. Kathleen Hughes ('84) provided the team building sessions, and we all had an opportunity to problem solve together. Our History and English teachers participated in writing workshops together, and all departments completed curriculum work to prepare for the 2021-22 school year. Java Joy provided hugs and coffee as we all left for our summer break.
