Seniors from the Zoology classes competed in the 18th Annual Coastal Birding Challenge on Georgia's Golden Isles. Over the long weekend, student teams searched from dawn to dusk to find as many bird species as they could. Hiking through maritime forests, tidal marshes, freshwater wetlands, and beaches, our fledgling ornithologists discovered 110 species.
