Recently, the Young Alumni Council organized two engaging Senior Transition Panels, offering valuable insights and advice to the entire senior class at Darlington School. The council members shared their personal experiences and knowledge on various aspects of the college life.

The first panel, "Things I Wish I Knew," featured Carson Barnes ('17), Eli Baldwin ('21), and Smith Wheeler ('19). They delved into crucial topics such as the nuances of class registration, choosing a major, and navigating campsus life. Their firsthand experiences provided students with a unique perspective on these essential aspects of college life.

The second panel, "What They Don't Teach You," included Ella (Carpenter) Givens ('17), Sam Tackeberry ('18), and Smith Wheeler ('19). This discussion focused on essential skills for college success, such as budgeting, finding college jobs, and internships.

Both panels sparked important conversations and addressed many of the concerns and questions that Darlington seniors face as they prepare for the next chapter of their lives. The open and honest discussions fostered a supportive environment for students to learn from the experiences of young alumni who were once in their shoes.
