Upper School COVID-19 Update

Parents,

I am writing to share with you a few changes that relate to COVID-19 and some changes we are making for the first few weeks of the semester. These changes will feel like the start of the 2020-2021 school year, but they are necessary changes for the short term.

If your student tests positive for COVID-19, please let the Head of House, Jennifer Rundles, or me know as soon as possible. Students who need to miss school due to COVID-19 will be able to login to their classes through Google Meet. Teachers shared the link to their classes with the students today. If your student has not received a link for a class, please contact the teacher to ask for this link.

Assembly and Chapel (along with normal advisory) will meet in the advisor’s classroom.

RUMPUS will be postponed for a few weeks. The official date will be announced once it has been finalized.

All faculty, staff, and students will be required to wear face coverings while inside the buildings. The students will not be allowed to move chairs in the dining hall and the library.

On Wednesday, Jan. 5, we will have an assembly during iPeriod. Students should report to their advisor’s classroom during club period time (1:20 - 2:10). The purpose of this assembly is to give updates and reminders of our COVID policies from the Head of School’s email on Sunday. You can find our updated COVID-19 policy here.

Please also take a moment to update/review the COVID-19 Vaccination Status of your student(s).

Residential families, please click here for additional information.

Let me know if you have any questions or concerns. I will see you tomorrow morning!

Director of Upper School
