In this #SeniorSpotlight get to know Shannon Li, a three-year boarding student from Zhengzhou, China. This talented student filmmaker recently took top honors at Darlington’s annual Technology Competition with his short, “One and Only,” and will go on to compete at the regional level.

What's your favorite place on campus and why?
The dining hall. It is where I can eat when I am hungry.

Toni King, productive teaching; John Cox, friendly teacher; Kim Tunnell, very supportive; Shelley Daniel, helped me a lot.
What's your favorite thing about Darlington?
Very supportive environment.
Describe an experience that you've had at Darlington that you couldn't have had anywhere else.
Magical friendships.
What are some of the ways you've grown since you first came to Darlington?
Knowledge, personality, ideas.
Where do you want to go to college and what is your dream job?
A film school that will train me to be a director.
