In this #SeniorSpotlight get to know Grace Lyons, a two-year boarding student from Nassau, Bahamas, and member of the Soccer Academy who has excelled in our annual Technology Competition with her CAD architecture projects.                

When you think of high school, what song comes to mind?     

“The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air” from the RUMPUS Lip Sync competition last year

What's your favorite show to binge on Netflix?     

“Grey’s Anatomy” 

What house are you a member of?     

Regester House

What are you involved in at Darlington? 

Soccer Academy, Senior Ventures

If you play sports, who is your favorite coach?    

Coach Becks 

What's your favorite place on campus and why?    

Silver Lake because it’s very calming.

Who's your favorite teacher?  

Mr. Cox, Mr. McDurmon, Mrs. Owens and Mr. Clark.

What's your favorite thing about Darlington?    

The campus.

Describe an experience that you've had at Darlington that you couldn't have had anywhere else.     

Living with the soccer team that I play with every day of the week.     

What are some of the ways you've grown since you first came to Darlington?     

I am more sociable. 

Where do you want to go to college and what is your dream job?    

I want to go to either Virginia Tech or Tulane and hopefully be an architect.
