Campus is alive again with students and teachers and the enthusiasm of a new year. A new year also means it is time to begin our annual campaign for The Darlington Fund.
Reaching our goal in the spring was a welcome success at the end of a discouraging spring semester. Our donors truly showed their love of the school as they stepped in for the All In for Our Seniors challenge.
More so than ever The Darlington Fund continues to be the top fundraising priority for the Lakeside as we adjust to continuing school during an ongoing pandemic. Our goal of $1,150,000 will support all aspects of the student experience, an experience not fully covered by tuition, including technology and the health and wellness of our community. These two things are beyond crucial as we continue business as usual where we can and evolving where we have to due to COVID-19 restrictions. Despite any uncertainties, we are determined to enroll great students and empower them to become confident contributors ready to engage in their community.
Gifts to The Darlington Fund endow the unique educational opportunities for our students and teachers. Darlington relies on the support of our alumni, parents and grandparents, parents and grandparents of alumni, faculty and staff, friends and foundations in order to have a successful year.
