Izzy Hortman (’08, LD ’15) lives and works in Orlando, Florida. She is a TSR Regional Manager for the United State Tennis Association (USTA). She has a passion for travel and her Tigers, Darlington and Auburn!

Where did you grow up?
Rome
How long have you served on the Alumni Council?
this is my 4th year
Tell us a little about your family:
My late father was a graduate of Darlington and so is my sister. My whole family (besides me) reside in Rome. I serve on the Alumni Council with three of my cousins and my uncle is the chairman of the Board of Trustees. As for me - I live in Orlando and (still) have no kids, pets, boyfriend or husband :)))

What's your favorite podcast?
"How I Built This" with Guy Raz
Who was your favorite teacher at Darlington (and why)?
Mr. Murray- he was entertaining and I loved his humor. He also made it seem like a chore to put up with me and I loved that (ha ha).
My favorite trip was...
To the most beautiful place I've ever been - Thailand with my best friend. For $10 a day you too can live like a Queen :)
If I could travel anywhere it would be....
The other 168 countries I have yet to visit
My favorite Darlington memory is...
As a cheerleader- every Friday in the fall. Wearing our uniforms to school, pep rallys, secret cheerleader/football player, cheering on the sidelines...all of it.
