Responsibilities include:
Streamline admission policies and processes - making the admission process smooth and efficient while adhering to admission policies and standards
Manage, process and report
New admission acceptance offers and new student enrollment for all divisions
The reenrollment process of current students for all divisions
Document all receipts of contract and payments, etc. with the Business Office
Provide technical support for the admission office - must be proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, Google Office Suite, Financial Edge and Blackbaud Office Suite, admission databases, and familiar with the use of various social media platforms
Assist with database management, data entry and offering assistance to admission officers - working closely with the database manager
Contribute accurate admission data for annual reports; i.e. TABS, NAIS or any other reports requested
Manage main admission phone line and email account and making sure guests are greeted in a friendly, respectful and warm manner - in person, online, on the phone, etc.
Coordinate admission events including on-campus open houses, visits, summer experiences, consultant tours, and off-campus local, domestic and international events.
Oversee the Tiger Rep Program - student tour guides and office assistance
Manage and maintain Educational Consultant Agreements and billing
Serve as the Primary Designated School Official (PDSO) with the Department of Homeland Security issuing I-20s for international students
Accurately manage the SEVIS database with the creation and updates to the I-17 certification document and bi-annual recertification process
Accurately maintain all areas of international students’ status reporting with the Department of Homeland Security and United States Immigration and Customs Enforcement via the SEVIS database for I-20’s for new, returning and departure students of Darlington School
Accurately report to all State of Georgia schools the attendance of students from their area in attendance at Darlington
Oversee daily office functions, including ordering office supplies, promotional items, etc.
Must be able to work evenings, weekends and travel to events and serve as a backup to members of the admission staff as needed
Participate in the life of the school as expected of a Darlington employee
Advocate for the school, admission office and the Darlington community whether during the business day or not
Qualifications:
Associate’s degree, Bachelor’s degree preferred
Three to five years of experience working in a fast-paced office environment in an administrative role
Must be able to lift 25 pounds, set up for events and stand for long periods of time
