Student-Athletes recognized at Winter Sports Assembly

Outstanding athletes in varsity basketball, swim, and wrestling were recognized at the Winter Sports Assembly on Monday, March 4, in Morris Chapel.

In girls’ basketball: 
Junior Caroline Dingler from Cedartown, Georgia received the Most Valuable Performer Award.

Senior Annabelle Braden of Silver Creek, Georgia received the Pillar Award.

Junior Kasey Barnett of Cedartown, Georgia received the Academic Award. 

In boys’ basketball: 
Senior Barrick Wade of Rome, Georgia received the Most Valuable Performer Award.

Senior Andrew Land of Rome, Georgia received the Pillar Award.

Sophomore Luke Lewis of Rome, Georgia received the Academic Award. 

In girls’ swim: 
Senior Alli Hagler of Rome, Georgia received the Most Valuable Performer Award.

Junior Anne Scott Smith of Rome, Georgia received the Pillar Award.

Senior Kacey Kemp of Nassau, Bahamas received the Academic Award. 

In boys’ swim: 
Senior Jack Eady of Rome, Georgia received the Most Valuable Performer Award and the Academic Award.

Junior Spencer Shadday of Rome, Georgia received the Pillar Award.

In wrestling: 
All of the varsity State Wrestling Champions were recognized as the Most Valuable Performers: freshman Alan Cordero of Cedartown, Georgia; senior Tyler Ingram of Rome, Georgia; senior Rhett McDurmon of Rome, Georgia; senior Dalton Blankenship of Aragon, Georgia; and senior Colton Woods of Cedartown, Georgia. 

Senior Rhett McDurmon also received the Academic Award.
