Purple Tie Affair 2018 is just around the corner! I hope you are considering participating in this event that has become a true testament of the large amount of support that we have for the added programs for our students in Academics, the Arts and Athletics.
Because of the energy and excitement for all things purple last year, the Fine Arts Booster Club was able to support all of the arts programs and 100% of the student body in the following ways:
Pay for the RCA Rental and sound and lighting support for the musical. Each year the musical is supported by the Purple Tie funds.
Provided funds for performance rights and costuming for the Thatcher Hall Spring Musical
Purchased new drum set, new bass clarinet and new oboe and provided funds for much needed instrumental repair.
Purchased new robes for concert choir and student leadership for special events.
Purchased stage addition for chapel and Thatcher Hall Ledbetter Commons.
Purchased additional pipe and drape for in house events and productions and storage cart to support facilities in setting up.
Purchased wireless mic system for Thatcher Hall sound system to be used in support of class plays and other events on campus.
Provided Fall for the Arts in October 2017 to spotlight student artists and accomplishments.
Field trips for multiple grade levels at Thatcher Hall.
Receptions and celebrations for all productions.
Sponsored the Chalk Masters Art Block and breakfast for Middle School.
As a participant and recipient of the Purple Tie Affair, the Fine Arts Booster Club will also be able to contribute to the security system that is being installed to insure the safety of our community and will also contribute physically to the success of this event.
