Community “HeARTs” now on display in Rome

February 9, 2015 | 1004 views
The centerpieces of the second-annual Rome Community HeART Project are now on display at Redmond Regional Medical Center and in various locations in Downtown Rome through Feb. 28. Among this year's 15 cement HeARTs are seven painted by members of the Darlington Community: four HeARTs by current students, two by faculty and one by an alumna.

Rome's newest public art installation takes place in celebration of American Heart Month. Each artist was asked to convey a message of heart health awareness through their painted cement sculptures. The project is a collaboration between the Rome Area Council for the Arts (RACA) and Redmond Regional Medical Center.
