Darlington School varsity football head coach Wayne Groves gives campers the basic mechanics needed for success during this FREE football camp. Darlington varsity coaches, coaches from other area high schools, current and former college players, and Darlington varsity athletes all join Coach Groves to make this a winning experience for each camper.

Beyond the fundamentals, campers learn to be team players, build a strong work ethic, maintain a positive attitude, become self-motivated, and develop leadership skills.

About the director
Wayne Groves is beginning his first year as head football coach at Darlington. Previously, he was defensive coordinator and strength and conditioning coordinator at Rome High School, helping them to six region championships and two state championships. Three times during his tenure, he led the No. 1 defense in the state. Prior to his work at Rome, he was the defensive coordinator at Valdosta High, where his 2014 defensive unit was ranked No. 1 in AAAAAA in points allowed.
