While at camp, the cheerleaders will work on cheers, dances, tumbling, and paint actual run-through and fence signs. All campers will receive their own Darlington pom-poms and a camp T-shirt. Participation is limited to 75.

About the directors
Bebe Cline has taught fifth grade at Darlington since 2005 and currently serves as team leader for grades 3-5. She has coached varsity cheerleading at Darlington since 2011. Bebe holds a B.A. from Mercer University, an M.Ed. from The University of Georgia. She is the mother of Sarah Beth ('14) and Jacqueline ('18).
Wendy Payne served as Darlington's varsity and JV cheer coach for six years. She has worked at Darlington since 1999 and is the executive coordinator to the director of Pre-K to 8 as well as AP, ACT, and SAT testing coordinator. Previously, she was library assistant, teaching assistant, and director of Camp Delightascope and Cool Yule. Wendy is the mother of Tiffany (Payne) Horton ('02), Trey Payne ('08) and Payton (Payne) Guest ('10).
Melissa Smyly, head of the English department, has taught at Darlington since 2017 and also coaches varsity cheerleading. She holds a B.S. in Secondary Language Arts from Auburn University and an M.A. in Library Media Technology from the University of West Alabama. Melissa is the mother of Emily Anne ('22), Jake ('24) and Loftin ('33).
