12-Month Full-Time


  • Responsible for the accuracy of general ledger accounts and reporting. Produces monthly financial statements for the CFO and assists in Board financial reporting.
  • Provides accounting and administrative oversight of the Blackbaud accounting software.  Assists Business Office staff in establishing policies and procedures for capturing, entering and reconciling financial data into Blackbaud.  
  • Gathers and coordinates departmental budget requests each year and works closely with CFO to establish the budget.
  • Performs reports and reconciliations required for the annual audit. Responsible for coordinating the annual audit, drafting the financial statements and assisting the auditors as needed for both the School audit and the Defined Contribution audit.
  • Reviews receipts and disbursements from accounts payables along with supporting documentation for accuracy and appropriateness.
  • Monitors monthly budget updates to department heads and assists them in the financial management of their departments.
  • Assists the CFO with any financial or operational information needed or reports prepared, including items required for reporting to the Finance Committee and Board of Trustees.  
  • Primary contact for student accounts and responsible for collection of student accounts.
  • Works with CFO and Director of Human Resources to oversee accuracy of payroll, maintenance of records, timely reporting of payroll data and employee issues as they arise.  
  • Performs other appropriate duties as assigned by the CFO.



  • 4 year college degree required. CPA license preferred.  
  • Two years experience in non-profit accounting preferred.
  • Must be reliable, detail-oriented, professional and adaptable. Must be well organized and have the ability to assume responsibility with minimal supervision.  
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel required.  
  • Experience with Blackbaud database systems is a plus. Must be able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously, and work in a fast paced team environment.
